An active participant throughout the entire game, Princess Zelda can take control of powerful Phantom characters to help Link make his way through obstacle-filled dungeons. New items include the Whirlwind and the Spirit Flute, which allows players to perform music that has magical effects on objects and events in the game by blowing into the built-in microphone of the Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi.

Rock Band gets Greener!

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that a three pack of songs from Green Day will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360^® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Wii^™ on Dec. 15 and to PlayStation^®3 computer entertainment system on Dec. 17.

Rock Band News for you!

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that both Slipknot and Simon & Garfunkel will make their debut next week in the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360^® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation^®3 computer entertainment system and Wii^™.

These artists join the more than 390 bands currently available through the Rock Band platform. With more than 1,000 songs available, Rock Band is, without question, the industry leader in providing the best selection of interactive musical content, songs and artists.

It’s a good year for Nintendo eh?!

Nintendo’s internal tracking numbers show that the company sold more than 1.5 million Wii^™, Nintendo DS^™ and Nintendo DSi^™ video game systems combined in the United States during Thanksgiving Week. That works out to more than 150 Nintendo systems sold every minute continuously for the week – or more than 2.5 every second.
