-Nintendo is dropping the suggested retail price of its Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL video game systems. Effective Sept. 12, the new suggested retail price of the Nintendo DSi system will be $149.99, while the new suggested retail price for the Nintendo DSi XL system will be $169.99. The Nintendo DS Lite model will remain at a suggested retail price of $129.99. The Nintendo DS family of video game systems is the best-selling in the history of the U.S. and worldwide. The new prices offer consumers tremendous value for their money while providing access to the best portable video game experiences possible.

LITTLEST PET SHOP Biggest Stars Announced

Young girls around the world are invited to start practicing their best skills for the ultimate LITTLEST PET pet SHOP competition. The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. today announced it is developing LITTLEST PET SHOP 3 Biggest Stars, a collection of three Nintendo DS™ games slated for release in fall 2010. The third iteration in the immensely popular LITTLEST PET SHOP video game series will encourage girls to hone and polish their team building skills as they further expand their collections with new pets, accessories and mini games.

LITTLEST PET SHOP 3 Biggest Stars will offer three separate games for the Nintendo DS – Blue Team, Pink Team, and Purple Team. The collection of games shares an overarching storyline that will inspire and rally girls to prepare their LITTLEST PET SHOP pets to become the “Biggest Star,” by training their pets to compete in a variety of contests such as fine tuning fashion sense, perfecting athletic ability and showing off artistic flair.

The Last Airbender Comes to Wii and DS Exclusively

I don’t know anything about The Last Airbender, sadly I don’t have much time for TV or much of anything a1 else, but doing some reading, it does seem interesting.

THQ Inc. today announced plans to bring The Last Airbender video game exclusively to the Wii™ system and Nintendo DS™/Nintendo DSi™ systems in June 2010. Inspired by Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures highly anticipated summer blockbuster live-action theatrical film, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, The Last Airbender video game will deliver all-new unique features that bring to life the film’s thrilling action and immerse players in the world of bending.

My kids are into this whole Bakugan thing, they’ve got it on the Xbox, but I can’t for the life of my figure b1 out the appeal of it all.. guess I’m too old..

THQ Inc. today announced plans to deliver its first demolition derby style party game, SpongeBob’s Boating Bash, in spring 2010. Currently in development for the Wii™ video game system, Nintendo DS™, and Nintendo DSi™, SpongeBob’s Boating Bash is a high energy and fast-paced video game that lets players compete as one of nine SpongeBob characters and “crash-n-bash” their way to victory within demolition arenas throughout Bikini Bottom. The multi-player game allows up to four players to drive more than 100 customized boat mobiles, while trying to knock off and collect other boat parts in order to earn points and move up levels, and ultimately earn their boat mobile license.
