Posted by Kristofer Brozio On June - 11 - 2010

The beloved baby life simulation series has grown up with more activities and fun! Majesco Entertainment Company  , an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, has just announced My Baby 3 & Friends exclusively for Nintendo DS(TM). As the third installment in the My Baby franchise that has sold nearly 2 million units worldwide, My Baby 3 & Friends lets players experience the joy of parenting as they feed, bathe, change and cuddle with their in game baby. What’s more, the game also sparks new social development skills via interaction with another baby and a puppy.

"We are thrilled to bring the third iteration of the successful My Baby franchise to market," said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco Entertainment. "Nobilis’ well known franchise is a perfect complement to our portfolio of quality family entertainment, and the game’s wealth of new features truly enhances the emotional connection between baby and parent."

My Baby 3 & Friends is a natural evolution of the My Baby franchise, a franchise that traced baby’s arrival in the original, moved on to baby’s first steps in the sequel and now lets players see and hear the next stages in baby’s development as a toddler. Using the Nintendo DS touch screen, stylus and microphone, girls can introduce their baby to new puzzles, toys and environments, including outdoor play in a swimming pool, on a swing or even a slide! Players can customize their baby’s physical appearance and nursery, and then go shopping for cute clothes, accessories and more than 350 items. And brand new to the My Baby series are 30 skills to help guide baby’s development in a non-linear way.

Developed by Nobilis, My Baby 3 & Friends for Nintendo DS is expected to release this October. For additional information about Majesco’s exciting line of products, please visit www.majescoentertainment.com

Never played this series, but it looks rather cool.. sure it’s a kids game, but I’m a big kid at heart !

Majesco Entertainment Company , an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced that A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia is now available for download on Virtual blob Console(TM). The classic Nintendo Entertainment System(TM) (NES(TM)) puzzle-platformer celebrates its 20th anniversary by challenging a new generation of gamers as it arrives on Wii(TM) for the first time. The original game has been one of the most influential in history and inspired the critically acclaimed reimagining of the tale for Wii(TM) — a boy and his blob — developed by WayForward Technologies earlier this fall.

Taking place in 2001 (the future from its original release), the game’s touching storyline begins when an Evil Emperor imprisons the inhabitants of Blobolonia. One brave soul by the name of Blob, full name Blobert, escapes his home planet looking for help. He crash-lands on Earth only to find a young boy. Luckily, when the Boy feeds Blobert flavored jellybeans, the blob transforms into various helpful shapes such as the Licorice Ladder, Fruit-Punch Hole and Hummingbird Honey. Using the magical candy and teamwork, the duo sets out to free Blobolonia and vanquish the Evil Emperor as they traverse through the head-scratching, side-scrolling puzzle action that has become legend in the annals of videogame history.
